SaaScada was founded from a desire to provide first-class banking capabilities for everyone.

Before SaaScada was launched, our founders successfully pioneered a venture providing a feature-rich digital bank, on a platform which is highly scalable, whilst being inexpensive to launch and operate.

The platform architecture enables us to offer banking services at a revolutionary low cost. This means we can provide agile, scalable and competitive banking solutions for any type of organisation, serving a wide range of customers.

Nelson Wootton
Founder and CEO

Nelson has over 25 years of experience in software development with expertise in 16 software languages. ‘C’ level in start-ups and SMEs.

Nelson was involved in the scaling of businesses such as iRIS, Axcess Canada and Facewatch.

Steve Round
Founder

Steve has over 25 years of experience in disruptive financial services working internationally in Russia, South Africa and The Gulf.

Steve is also on the board of Centenary Bank, which, along with Ecology Building Society, are members of The Global Alliance for Banking on Values.

Belinda Wrigley
Chief Financial Officer

Belinda has over 20 years of finance experience in the technology and services sector with a track record of delivery in both blue-chip corporations and entrepreneurial organisations. She is also a qualified accountant with an MBA from London Business School.

Paul Payne
Chief Technical Officer

Paul has 20 years’ software development experience and a track record building and leading engineering and operations teams across start-ups, SME and FTSE100 companies. He has experience in a wide range of sectors from financial services to hospitality and specialises in platform development across AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure. Paul has an Executive MBA from Leeds Business School.

Antony Bream
Chief Revenue Officer

Antony is a FinTech expert with over 20 years’ experience working across a range of companies from start and scale up to listed companies in the digitisation of financial services. Acting as a mentor for London & Partners and Barclays Rise, Antony is also engaged in the evolution of financial services technology as it continues to push barriers beyond banking.

Jody Roblin
Chief Marketing Officer

Jody has over 25 years’ experience in financial services and fintech marketing in Australia and the United Kingdom. Jody has delivered success for both start-ups and scale-ups, with a keen focus on customer outcomes and sustainability.

Matthew Breadon
Chief Commercial Officer

Matt has 16 years of experience in global banking and technology, working and advising in both larger established banks and challenger environments. He brings to the team a wealth of knowledge in retail banking, structured finance, trading, business intelligence and business relationship management. Matt holds a BA in International Relations and European Economic Policy.

Alastair Brown
Advisory Board Member

With senior technology roles at RBS, including CIO International Banking, and as the former CEO of AIM listed software house Lombard Risk, Alastair has 28 years’ experience of banking, financial services, technology and software delivery. He has extensive international experience coupled with a deep insight into the way that digital solutions are creating disruptive opportunities in the industry. Alastair has an MSc in Information Technology and a first degree in Economics.

Leonie Alsop
Non-Executive Marketing Director

Leonie has 25 years’ experience in all aspects of marketing strategy, programmes and brand for financial services and financial technology firms. Previously Leonie was the Chief Marketing officer for Lombard Risk, the collateral management and regulatory reporting solutions provider, and before that she held CMO roles at trading, treasury and risk management solution providers OpenLink and Wall Street Systems (both now acquired by ION Trading). Leonie also led Global Marketing Operations for Temenos, the global provider of banking software.

Leonie is CIM / CAM qualified. She has a focus on helping companies to grow through increased profile, winning market share and delivering customer satisfaction.
